Yooka-Replaylee Hits 60FPS on Nintendo Switch 2 in Major New Performance Update

Following a tremendous response from our community, the team has been hard at work to deliver a smoother, more responsive way to experience the open-world 3D platforming epic. While the game launched to praise for its high visual fidelity, we have heard the call for a high-frame-rate experience and are thrilled to deliver a silky-smooth 60fps mode for our fans.

Following the update, Yooka-Replaylee will now run in Performance Mode by default, allowing you to jump straight into the 60fps action. For those who prefer a higher quality image over frame rate, we have included a “Fidelity Mode” under the options menu. Selecting this will lock the frame rate to 30fps but provides a graphical bump, ensuring the world looks its absolute best for players who value visual crispness above all else.

The Yooka-Replaylee demo has also received the performance mode update, making it the ultimate “try before you buy” experience. This allows you to experience the opening of the game and bring all their hard-earned collectables over to the main game.
