How do I get the discount?

Playtonic and PM Studios are really excited to be able to provide a discount on Yooka-Replaylee for existing owners of Yooka-Laylee. You can secure 30% off the new platforming adventure on each of the platforms by following the details below:

Steam: On the Yooka-Replaylee game page, add the ‘Yooka-Laylee Owner Discount’ bundle to your cart, and if you already own Yooka Laylee, you’ll secure the discount on Yooka-Replaylee.

PlayStation:
If you already own Yooka-Laylee on PlayStation, you should automatically receive the owner’s discount when adding Yooka-Replaylee to your cart.

Please note — the easiest way to access your discount is by purchasing directly through the PlayStation 5 console store, as there are currently known issues when purchasing via the PlayStation website or mobile app.

If you don’t see the discounted price, make sure to open the “Editions” dropdown menu and select the Owner’s Discount option.

Xbox: If you already own Yooka-Laylee on Xbox, you’ll see that you’re automatically entitled to the discount when adding Yooka-Replaylee to your cart.

Nintendo Switch 2: In Nintendo of America regions, players who own Yooka-Laylee are eligible for an automatic discount when purchasing Yooka-Replaylee.

Both Playtonic and PM Studios explored every possible option to extend the same offer to players in other regions. However, regional store systems do not currently support this specific promotion. Thank you for your understanding. We truly appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm and support worldwide.

Can I get a discount if I own the physical version of Yooka-Laylee?

The owner’s discount is only available to customers who own digital versions of Yooka-Laylee due to platform limitations.

Does the owner’s discount work from one generation of console to the next?

The discount will apply to Xbox One on to Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4 on to PlayStation 5 as well as Nintendo Switch on to Nintendo Switch 2.

If I own Yooka-Laylee for a certain platform, am I eligible for the discount on a different platform?

Due to the nature of each platform’s ecosystem, it is not possible to receive a discount on a platform other than the one you own Yooka-Laylee on.  If you own a digital copy of Yooka-Laylee on PS4, your discount would apply to a digital copy of Yooka-Replaylee on PS5. Likewise with Xbox and Nintendo.

Are you releasing a physical version of Yooka-Replaylee?

Our digital launch is on October 9th, whilst physical versions will be released on December 18th for all console platforms.

I pre-ordered why didn’t I receive a discount?

Unfortunately, the owner’s discount will be available from launch, and any purchases made prior to this will not be able to be retroactively amended due to platform restrictions.

Follow Playtonic and our partners over at PM Studios for any future updates in relation to the above promotions.

On that note, we’re working hard to get the Switch version of Cattle Country up-to-date with the rest and we should not be too far away from doing so. Thank you for all your support and feedback on Cattle Country so far.

UPDATE ON CATTLE COUNTRY ON CONSOLES

We’re excited to have all our budding ranchers get their hands on Cattle Country and start their cozy frontier life on day 1! However, we want to make our community aware that there is currently a bug impacting the Hoedown event early in the game that was discovered in close proximity to the launch. There has already been a fix for this on the PC version of the game but due to how submissions work on console platforms the same fix will take a couple of days to reach consoles. But rest assured that a fix and some quality of life improvements are coming to console platforms in the coming days. We apologise for the inconvenience and are working as fast as we can to get the update live.
